Boa Vista Natural
A pulped-natural Carmo de Minas lot with milk chocolate, hazelnut, and the low-acid body Brazil is known for.
Fazenda Boa Vista sits in Carmo de Minas, in the Mantiqueira de Minas region long associated with some of Brazil’s most carefully processed farms. This lot is dried whole-cherry on raised beds for roughly three weeks, turned by hand through the day to dry evenly.
The cup is classic Brazilian natural: milk chocolate and hazelnut over a heavy, low-acid body — the backbone of a good espresso blend, but pleasant enough on its own as filter coffee for anyone who prefers a gentler cup.
Producer
A fourth-generation family farm in Carmo de Minas that has processed its own natural lots since the 1970s, alongside a small nursery propagating Yellow Bourbon seedlings for neighboring farms.
Terroir
The Mantiqueira range's rolling hills and moderate altitude give consistent, even ripening with fewer of the sudden frosts that hit lower Brazilian growing regions.
